Cumbria Constabulary:

Cumbria Police now has a new way for the public to report incidents to the police. The new number is a national number like the ‘999’ system and will be ‘101’.

101 is the new easy to remember number for the public to report non-emergencies to the Police and replaces the 0845 number.

Calls to 101 will cost 15p per call, no matter what time of day it is, or how long the call lasts.

This means everyone calling the police will know exactly how much a call will cost them, whether they’re calling from a landline or a mobile phone.
